Since this is the rumor thread, heard a rumor on FB that Pegula will making a big announcement tomorrow.

Peggy's big announcement is that the sabres are now sitting in the bottom of the conference.

Time to get to the bottom 2 to have a shot at the #1 pick, who Ruff will never know how to use or have him even score. We're on defense now, 1-0 wins or bust.

You have to be in the bottom 5 to have a chance at #1

I think a team can't lose more than one spot & the higher you are, the more likely you are to get 1.

It's not about losing it's about gaining...They only draw one team out of the hopper and that teams moves up a maximum of four spots in the draft. One team can gain 4 spots and everybody else falls in line how they finished in the league. If the Sabres finish last, the worse they can do is 2nd overall.
