While it is still quite early, things are starting to pick up for college prospects, and grades are becoming a little more clear. Still have quite a bit to go, as a lot of these spots are subject to change, and most are likely to. Clearly, some of the guys listed might not even be available in those spots come draft day (Brown, Sanu, Jones, etc.) hence this being the rough guess. Also, with comp picks, the pick #s will change.

I have scenarios for both 4-3 and 3-4, as we still have no idea what Wanny is going to do. I'd like to have worked a DB into the 4-3 mock, but with the switch back, I'd think they would be looking to address DE and OLB first. Brown could easily go before then though, so I could see them bumping up WR into that spot depending on who is still on the board, and looking CB in the 4th.

4-3

1. (10) Nick Perry DE USC 6'3'' 250 Lbs
2. (41) Zach Brown OLB UNC 6'1 1/2'' 236 Lbs
3. (72) Kirk Cousins QB Michigan State 6'3'' 205 Lbs
4. (106) Dwight Jones WR UNC 6'3'' 226 Lbs
4. (?) Nigel Bradham OLB FSU 6'1 1/2'' 237 Lbs
5. (137) Mitchell Schwartz OT Cal 6'5'' 317 Lbs
6. (168) Jacquies Smith DE Missouri 6'3'' 255 Lbs
7. (202) Anthony Miller TE Cal 6'3'' 260 Lbs

3-4

1. (10) Courtney Upshaw OLB Alabama 6'1 1/2'' 273 Lbs
2. (41) Mohamed Sanu WR Rutgers 6'2'' 215 Lbs
3. (72) Kirk Cousins QB Michigan State 6'3'' 205 Lbs
4. (106) Brandon Lindsey OLB Pitt 6'2'' 250 Lbs
4. (?) Keith Tandy CB West Virginia 5'11 199 Lbs
5. (137) Mitchell Schwartz OT Cal 6'5'' 317 Lbs
6. (168) Kevin Koger TE Michigan 6'4'' 258 Lbs
7. (202) Trevin Wade CB Arizona 5'11'' 192 Lbs

I do like Kirk Cousins pick though

Don't we have an extra 6th that could become a 5th from the Lynch trade?

I prefer the second mock

I don't think Sanu makes it out of the 1st round.

No thanks to wasting another 3rd rounder on a QB.

I'd vomit if we took a WR in round 2 (assuming stevie stays)

Not big on Cousins in the 3rd or Sanu in the 2nd.

Upshaw has a limited upside to me.

Really dont think the FO spends a 3rd rd pick on a QB with what they have invested in Fitz and Thig.

Upshaw has a limited upside to me.

He doesn't have Coples upside but I don't think he busts out of the league either. I think Upshaw will be a good/above avg. player for ten years in the right system.

I don't think Sanu makes it out of the 1st round.

I pointed that out as a possibility.

Why? Outside of Stevie and David Nelson, who has shown they can be counted on?

Not big on Cousins in the 3rd or Sanu in the 2nd.

Why is that? Watched either play?

Upshaw has a limited upside to me.

He probably won't end up being an elite pass rusher, but he might be something just as hard to find. A dominant LOLB changes what a defense can do. He might be a 5-9 sack a year guy, but he can create pressure, and standing up has the abiltity to stand up to the run. He came in at 273 for the Senior Bowl, and looks just as fluid.

I don't think QB is out of the question, especially with Fitz's play dropping after signing the extension, and I'm pretty sure they can get out of most of that contract. They have said it is on the radar.

yeah once or twice.

Sanu is more of the position of wr.

I just don't see any great quality in Cousins outside of actual playing experience and I think the 3rd is to early for him.

If he's still there in the 5yh or 6th I would look at him. At an early 3rd rd pick we need a player that can come in and contribute.

People take players much earlier just to sit them. Cousins has a very solid foundation, he clearly needs to add bulk, but his scouting report is pretty similar to Tom Brady's coming out of college.

I knew you were going to say Tom Brady.

Hey you never know.

4-3

1. (10) Nick Perry DE USC 6'3'' 250 Lbs
2. (41) Zach Brown OLB UNC 6'1 1/2'' 236 Lbs
3. (72) Kirk Cousins QB Michigan State 6'3'' 205 Lbs
4. (106) Dwight Jones WR UNC 6'3'' 226 Lbs
4. (?) Nigel Bradham OLB FSU 6'1 1/2'' 237 Lbs
5. (137) Mitchell Schwartz OT Cal 6'5'' 317 Lbs
6. (168) Jacquies Smith DE Missouri 6'3'' 255 Lbs
7. (202) Anthony Miller TE Cal 6'3'' 260 Lbs

Love the first two picks though I think Brown could sneak into Round 1 with his athleticism.

Cousins isn't a bad pick at all.

No way Jones falls that far, I'd consider him a 1st-2nd at this point.

The rest of the draft is mostly just meh, nobody really excites or interests me of that group.

3-4

1. (10) Courtney Upshaw OLB Alabama 6'1 1/2'' 273 Lbs
2. (41) Mohamed Sanu WR Rutgers 6'2'' 215 Lbs
3. (72) Kirk Cousins QB Michigan State 6'3'' 205 Lbs
4. (106) Brandon Lindsey OLB Pitt 6'2'' 250 Lbs
4. (?) Keith Tandy CB West Virginia 5'11 199 Lbs
5. (137) Mitchell Schwartz OT Cal 6'5'' 317 Lbs
6. (168) Kevin Koger TE Michigan 6'4'' 258 Lbs
7. (202) Trevin Wade CB Arizona 5'11'' 192 Lbs

Upshaw and Sanu would be perfect in our 34.

Cousins again, solid but not great.

Lindsey is got his ass kicked in Tampa at the East West in a 43. Some say he'll be better in a 34, Im quite hesistant.

Tandy is good pick.

Kroger would be a steal in the 6th but he's looking like a 4th-5th Rounder.

Wade I like, and Schwartz is meh.

Also you're missing the comp pick we get from Seattle for Lynch. Looking like it will be a 6th.

I think drafting for a 4-3 is more realistic at this point. Even if we run a hybrid type defense, I don't see Upshaw having the versatility to be a good fit here.

I'd rather see Coples or Ingram over Perry, but I would be ok with Perry. If we could trade down and still get Ingram or Perry that would be ideal to me. I'd also replace Cousins in the 3rd with a CB or OT.

Yeah, that's why I left the disclaimer. Jones might be there with where everything is now, but come draft day will probably be back end 2nd / early 3rd.

Lindsey is a Wanny pick, developmental.

I like Tandy in both schemes.

Schwartz has some upside as a swing tackle backup. I'm not in love with a lot of the OTs in that pick range, maybe a Tom Compton but I haven't seen enough.

Koger could fly under the radar but workouts could bump him up as you said.

I left out the Lynch pick because I still don't have what it will be.

Also, with the 4-3 Mock, Bradham could be a solid mid round pick. If he can be coached up to his physical ability, he could be legit.

Love the first two picks, I would be estatic, like the Cousins pick, would love Dwight, but he's going in Rd 2. Marvin Jones would be a good pick up in 4 though.

Brown looking solid at Senior Bowl so far. Around the ball a lot.

Schwartz is playing well vs Coples. Washed him out completely on 2nd down, then shows solid pass pro the following play before drive sputtered around 10:00 to go in 1st.
