All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Jason did a good job of representation. he's definitely not the problem on the Sabres. Although the Sabres have definitely plummeted to the basement of the NHL - only one player on the All-Star teams, and he's drafted 18th round.
If that's the problem, I blame it on the coaching then - first for making the error, and second for not recognizing and correcting the error by naming one of the 4 alternates as Captain. After all, Pomminville didn't pick himself for Captain.
This lowly cart.... it hits harder and has a higher yards
per play average than the Bills' offense!
And honestly, I never thought I would be defending Pominville. I used to be all over him for the number of times he would flat out miss the net on good scoring opportunities, amongst other flaws.

but he as had a good half of a season out of 5 (Since D & B left) and now everybody is on his jock on what a great player he is. Let's see him keep it up for the rest of the year because I have a feeling he blew his wad in the first half.
he's been a consistent 62+ point guy every year, and with vanek his numbers are back around what they were when briere was here. not to mention he's a staple on the PK and solid defensively.
pominville is far from part of the problem.

I will not be surprised if Tebow has more success than Peyton in the NFL.

You could be right. It wouldn't surprise me at all. He has certainly been a disappointment since Briere and Drury left.
Vanek is pretty much in the same boat.
But right now, they are the only two guys playing well on the team, and perhaps the only reasons we're not last in the league. If we're gonna move guys, I'd much rather move Stafford, Roy, Boyes or Lieno.
Buffalo Sabres rookie Luke Adam grabbed a microphone and interviewed teammate Jason Pominville, who had a goal and assist in a losing effort.
Adam's final question was about all the talent in Scotiabank Place.
"If you could pick one player on this team to be part of the Buffalo Sabres, do you think you could pick one player?" Adam asked. "Did you notice one guy you had a lot of fun playing with or see someone out there?"
"I don't know if I'd pick a player," Pominville said in a serious tone. "I like our team. I like everybody we have. I like the chemistry we have in our locker room, so I would keep it that way."
