    Superbowl breakdown and my prediction

It's finally here. Super Bowl XLVI is upon us with a colossal rematch in store as the New York Giants face off against the New England Patriots. Let's dig deep into each position and see who has the advantage going into Sunday. Following that (drum roll please), I will give my much anticipated Super Bowl prediction.

Giants will win. They beat the Pats in Foxboro when they weren't playing that great and were missing players, they're playing well and are healthier, and the Pats won't have Gronk.

He'll probably dress, given it's the SB. But if he does get in the game, at best I see him getting 1 catch and being lost for the rest of the game as a Giants defender rolls-up on his ankle "accidentally" during the tackle. Bet on it. High ankle sprains are a ***** and they don't magically heal in 2 weeks.

"This matchup is the hardest one of them all to put a finger on. In one corner, you have possibly the greatest QB to ever play the position in Tom Brady."

Some Pepto Bismol is that all of their SB wins came when they were cheating.

IMO it's a typical BB smokescreen and he'll be 100%. With a Patriots win, if Brady doesn't get MVP Gronk will as he appears to be achieving Bruschi-type status.

The kid broke an ankle in high school and was completely healed in two weeks (according to his father, anyway), so I don't see a sprain keeping him out longer.

What happened to him in the Ravens game was no smokescreen. He was useless after he got injured. Again the Giants will target his ankle if he does play and he'll be knocked-out. They admitted that they targeted Kyle Williams in the 49'ers game because of his history of concussions, so they'll have no problems tweaking Gronk's ankle any (the first and only) chance they get.

As for breaking his ankle in HS and healing in 2 weeks, that's pure BS. He might have chipped a piece of bone off, but no way did he break his ankle and heal in 2 weeks.

Who is better, Eli Manning of a 4 years ago when the Giants beat the Pats* or Eli Manning this year?

The only argument I'd have is Pats receivers since Gronk will be severely limited. I'd also say the Pats' O-line is worse than 4 years ago.

that's fine and wishful thinking, but all signs point to the Pats winning.
