Anybody else catch this in the article?

It all started when 49ers safety Donte Whitner, the former Bill, invited Johnson to the NFC Championship Game in San Francisco two weeks ago and Johnson noticed the fans' enthusiasm.

Is that lame **** Whitner recruiting Stevie for the 49ers?

I hope Whitner falls off a building.

Buffalo is basically the NFL's farm system. They develop young players then let them go to other teams once they start to hit their prime.

Wow this is so stupid lol. Not once did Johnson say anything even close to wanting to be on SF. It was his 2nd game hes ever been too, this article is about his expierence seeing the game as opposed to playing it. Not Johnson leaving buffalo for SF

that would be wonderful. i think steve is a good ball player but i'm sick of his immature shenanigans that hurt the team.

Yeah, it's simply a coincidence, isn't it?

Barnett's ex-teammates got him tix to the GB game, and he took Shepp with him - not like they're being traded. So yeah, Whitner may want to recruit, but they're all also friends and perhaps he wanted to cheer his friend on (who plays for Stevie's hometown team AND was given tips on where to go/what to do in Cali)?

This scares me a little because Stevie grew up in the bay area and one has to worry as a Bills fan if he wants go "home" and play for a better team etc. That being said we'd better Franchise him to be on the safe side.

I hadn't heard about that. Awesome to hear Barnett is taking Shepp on like that. I love the way Barnett plays and am pumped to hear he's with Shepp off the field as well.

Do they even need a WR?

Unless the Bills meet his agent's demands to the 'T', he's as good as gone to the left coast.
