Besides wanting the Patriots to lose... Getting to watch Herz play in a Super Bowl is pretty tremendous.
I blow my mind that 32 teams passed on him 7x.
Is he really going to "play"? He is pretty far down the depth chart.

I blow my mind that 32 teams passed on him 7x. Cancer is a good reason to pass on someone.
I'll root for the guy to live a long life and die of old age.

He's clear of cancer. And he does get to play in certain packages.

Well, as a Cancer survivor myself, I hope he remains free from cancer, but he will not be Cancer free until 5 years have passed from the first time he showed no sign of cancer & I can tell you that Cancer & the treatment of it affects you for the rest of your life.

The Pats have their own cancer survivor and a pretty nice story in Marcus Cannon.
I like Herzlich a lot, though. I think he becomes a starter for the Giants at ILB in the next couple years.

He'll definitely be on the field some come Sunday.
Also good note from Icky about the Patriots own cancer survivor in Cannon.
Both players are great stories.
