All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Goodell: "Every Team on Thursday Night Football in 2012"
Goodell: "Every Team on Thursday Night Football in 2012"
Been watching his press conference for a bit... Just mentioned that Thursday Night games would be on from "Week 2 through Week 15. This will result in every team appearing on a Thursday Football game and every team having a Prime Time appearance throughout the season."
Weeks 2-15 would be 14 games... add in the two Thanksgiving games, that's 16.

What network will carry the games? For some reason I thought NFL Network was not going to carry the Thursday night games.
ABC the only one of the major 4 that don't carry games now but then again they are owned by the same parent company (Disney) that owns ESPN. Yet as eluded to before would think NFL Network so the league can pocket more revenue and try to find a way to try and force an agreement with Time Warner Cable and other companies that don't have a contract to sign up with them and in turn make even more money.

But, I'm surprised he's promising this because the logistics of it are a nightmare.
I agree. They will have to find 16 games between teams that haven't played a Thursday night yet. It's probably mathematically possible but I don't want to be the one crunching that schedule.
