According to Tim Brown on Twitter, no WR's made it this year.

That would be a travesty not only for Andre, but for the position.

If Greene, Doleman or Parcells make it over any of the WR's it would be a great injustice.

Reed made it to 10, with Carter, Dawson, Doleman, Haley, Kennedy, Martin, Roaf, Williams and Parcells.

I would cross off Parcells, Williams, Kennedy and Doleman immediately.

With those four gone, it's hard to believe neither Carter or Reed would make it.

Wow! Both Reed and Carter made it to the final 10! How could they both not make it? :shakeno:

Maybe Brown is mistaken and jumping the gun because he was eliminated first.

I'm going to guess....

Charles Haley
Curtis Martin
Willie Roaf
Dermontti Dawson
Bill Parcells or Chris Doleman

But it should be Haley, Martin, Roaf, Dawson and Reed.

Cortez Kennedy? Ya gotta be kidding me!

Only 6 players made it into the Hall of Fame....

Jack Butler
Dermontti Dawson
Chris Doleman
Cortez Kennedy
Curtis Martin
Willie Roaf

I am shocked that none of the WR's made it.

The Hall of Fame is a f**king joke. I'm through ever paying any attention to it again. It must be all politics or bulls**t or some combination of both.

I don't think Andre will ever make it, and that's a f**cking travesty.

Curtis Martin Hall of Fame? Really. Doesnt invoke even a thought. He was consistent and good.. but HOF.

Kennedy over Reed or any of the WRs is insane.

Only name that makes no sense in that list is Cortez Kennedy. Never thought of him as a HOF type player when watching him, actually, play.

stats say Martin should definitely be in, not sure this soon though. the Hall is a joke because they weight positions, which is a crock of crap. Reed having to wait this long is a travesty.

was out to dinner with my wife and just watched it on DVR.....to say I am disappointed would be an understatement. I really thought this would be Andre's year...I actually got the chance to talk to him a few years ago at a local bar in Buffalo...and we talked about the HOF. He truly felt like he deserved to be in it along with his other teammates...I guess we will have to wait another year. He WILL be the first out of those 3 to get in. This is the first time Carter has made top 10 and Reed has now been top 10 the past three years I believe.

They'll probably induct all 3 WR's next year.

Uh, yeah.

How many other RBs had 10 straight 1000 yrd seasons? He played 11 and had 10. Also, only 3 other RBs in the history of the NFL rushed for more yards than he did.

Curtis Martin was this year's only "shoe-in".

Reed is not getting in for awhile.

Not any more TD.Too may WRs that average 115 balls a season.

Curtis Martin was a piece of ****, and Chris Doleman is joke.

Might just as well call it the Hall of Mediocrity.

Gotta agree.

With the changes in the game there are going to be too many players putting up what used to be considered 'monster' stats on a regular basis. By the time the HOF dumbasses actually get around to allowing a few receivers into their hallowed hall, guys like Brown, Carter and Reed will be way down the lists and afterthoughts.

This was probably one of the weakest classes of Hall of Fame nominees in quite awhile. If he couldn't get in with this class, he probably wont be getting in at all. JMO
