PHOENIX (AP) -- An arbitrator has dismissed a $21 million claim filed by the Arizona Cardinals against Arizona State University in a dispute over sponsorship signs at Sun Devil Stadium. But the Cardinals will be allowed to proceed with a smaller claim.
Arbitrator Thomas G. Ryan ruled Monday that the Cardinals can seek damages beginning from 1999 which may amount to about $12 million.
