At 6'1", 245 pounds, The Oakland Raiders fourth round draft pick Shurron Pierson is sure to make an impact with his explosive power and exceptional quickness. This defensive end, the 129th player chosen in the 2003 NFL Draft, has been a two-year terror for opposing quarterbacks while at the University of South Florida. "He has the potential to be a really great player," said former USF teammate Kawika Mitchell. This exceptional athlete has also been regarded as one of the fastest players in USF history (4.4 in the 40-yard dash on campus).
