Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter

RT @JosinaAnderson: Stanford Routt's agent William Vann McElroy told me, "Stanford already has visits planned with Buffalo and Tennessee."

This is per Josina Anderson of ESPN twitter. He is also planning on visiting the Titans.

Routt would be a real nice replacement for McGee.

I saw all the penalty stats and TDs given up, but I still think he'd be a nice upgrade. I think either way, McGee is done.

Raiders had signed him to a 5-year, 54M contract last offseason.

He's a link to some serious fan analysis of his 2011 season which is a 4 part series that starts here (http://www.raiders.ninjagoro.com/2012/01/stanford-routts-2011-season-part-1-the-penalties/)

Being one of the first teams he talks to makes me feel good in general bout this whole free agency. Maybe some players do like us?

Visits planned?

You better hope this is smoke... This has tampering/docked draft picks written all over it.

He was released so he can visit teams and sign before FA period

Not worth the money Davis paid him, but I'd love him on the team at reasonable rate. Just don't want to pay him top CB money, Al made him the third highest CB.

Need to sign Johnson, Jackson, Byrd, Levitre, Urbik too.

Hope he's OK with a paycut, because he isn't worth the contract Oakland gave him.

A younger and maybe little bit scrappier version of Florence, obviously he needs help against bigger receivers.

Would love to have him and Williams starting a CB with Florence, McKelvin and Rogers backing them up. That gives us a solid CB crew.

Well they're certainly going after bigger CB's.
