    Here we go...

    This is all we need.
Spiller wants to start. Think he keeps quiet about it?

Of course he wants to start and if he didn't I wouldn't want him on this team.

tell him he will get his fair share of carries, but Jackson is still the man because Jackson still gets better YPC.

Wanting to start is one thing, mouthing out to the media is another. Of course, as the article states it's an unnamed 'league source' so who the hell really knows if CJ is going to be a good soldier or a whiny ***** until he actually says something himself?

I really hope he and Fred Jackson can coexist. I think they can compliment each other really well and both get a good number of carries. Also, since Fred is on the wrong side of 30, the team has to know he's not going to last too many years. Granted, he doesn't have the wear and tear on his body that a lot of running backs have at his age, but most running backs don't even make it to 30 in their NFL career. CJ shouldn't have to wait that long before he's the number one guy.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

CJ-Fred should be a better version of Jacobs/Bradshaw

Jackson is a more fully rounded , consistent RB.. Spiller is improving and his speed is great, but Jackson is better at blocking, receiving, hitting the hole and moving the pile.

Hopefully Spiller won't be too much of an ass about any of this. He'll get his shots, more and more so with each year. Even if when extend Freddy

All you need to know about this is, Freddie will be 31 yrs. old and Spiller was drafted with the 9th pick by this regime.

I think they will be a perfect time share for a year or two more. That's why I hope FJax's extension is heavy on bonus money and short in years. I could see 20 carries a game for Freddy and 20 total touches a game for CJ, with each averaging about 90 yards a game. That would take a lot of pressure of Fitz and counter the fact that we don't have a deep passing game.

Just keep both of them on the field at the same time.

Always have them both out there. Do some reverses with both. We have 2 amazing RBs, we need to take advantage of it. The only issue I see, is when does Spiller need to go in? 1st and 10, you always need positives on those plays and Jackson always gains yards. 2nd and 10? Perfect times to call a screen to Jackson. 3rd and 10? Maybe a good time. Then anything under 5 yards Jackson HAS to be in the game

At some point he will be the feature back here. Spiller is a Nix product, Jackson isn't. Despite what he did last year, Jackson is going to have to prove himself every season in order to keep his job, or he will lose it to Spiller in an instant. It isn't exactly fair, but it is the reality of that situation at RB. JMO
