He couldn't lie. Reed was never one to conceal his darker moods during his playing days. He said it was disheartening to lose out again. Reed is a proud man who trained tirelessly to become an athlete who would go over the middle and take the big hits. This hit is as hard as they come.

"Yeah, it is," he said. "It is. It is. And really, I'm at a loss for words because I've said as much as I could say, politically, the way I want to say it. I'm not going to go out and bash anybody. That's not how I work. I don't work like that."

Reed needs to become an analyst on tv or somethin. It seems like the players that keep in the media are a sure thing at the hall.

Nashville sports talk radio talked about the guys that didn't get in. A former player can't remember his name said Reed is the best WR in the bunch, and should without question get in. So outside of NY people know.
