Calculation for tags changed with the new CBA. It's based on average of previous 5 seasons not just 1 year.

They can also be different for individual players based on previous years salary

Based on only 2011 the average of the top 10 WR's was:
$9,771,853 per year.

It's important to note that Larry Fitzgerald's new contract is front loaded and paid him $21,500,000 this past year.

I dont have the figures for the last four but will try and look around later.

Doesn't matter what the cost is because they are not tagging him.
They either get an extension done at a number they can live with or he's gone.

I agree, if they can't get an extension done at a price both Stevie & the Bills can live with Stevie is gone.

That however does not preclude the Bills from tagging Stevie & trading him.

While I agree the tag is very unlikely I would hope we would at least want to know what the accurate amount is to at least know what it would cost to keep him under that option.
