I just read on Profootballtalk.com that ESPN announced that Ron Jaworski will no longer be in the booth for Monday night Football. It will be a two man booth with Jon Gruden & Mike Tirico.

Jaws will still do studio work for ESPN, but will no longer be in the booth Monday Night. I for one will miss him.

He was generally good. I didn't like the fact that he raved about whatever QB was having a good game, but he did make some really good points and definitely showed good insight and football knowledge.

A co-worker just suggested...

Wait for it...

Peyton Manning. I think Gruden would explode.

Peyton Manning. I think Gruden would explode.if he were to jump right into broadcasting, i think he'd join NBC and reunite with Dungy

He'll be back when Chucky gets a real job.

They should keep Jaws and throw all their money at Gus Johnson.

Tirico sucks.

I dont mind Tirico but Gus is the best.

This March Madness will not be as good simple because there will be no #LawofGus

I like Jaws, native of Lackawanna, New York,

hope he's on Sunday NFL Countdown next football season, Boomer and Jaws two guys that always root for the Bills. I hope that ESPN either cans Keyshawn or Ditka. If they did that I would watch NFL Countdown again instead of The NFL today.

He probably doesn't miss it.

He's got tons of studio work at ESPN and is well compensated. Always liked Jaworski.

His expert insight involved raving interviews about JP Losman too.

he breaks the film down the best and usually is spot on in terms of how a play broke down.

i'm going to be upset if this is because he said "****" on air during the season and the uptight people started their calling tree to get him removed.

He was a good offset to Gruden, the glamour boy. Jaws was solid with his comments. Probably not flamboyant enough. Gruden provided a lot of BS for the less knowledgeable fans.

I for one enjoyed listening to Jaws!
