I don't know who this Strickland guy is or if he has any credibility, but I find this extremely disconcerting:
Sources close to Miller confirm his frustration with the Sabres organization and tell me he’d waive his modified no-trade clause to go to Chicago.
The frustration began early in the season after he was trucked by Boston’s Milan Lucic. Miller stayed down on the ice while his teammates stood around and watched.
From this point forward it’s more than safe to assume Miller began questioning his teammates. Are they willing to bleed for him in the same fashion he does for them?
Now, I'm very hesitant on the thought of trading Miller because we have nothing behind Enroth and it puts us in the exact same situation we've been in since we lost Biron/Conklin: no competent backup goaltending to give the starter a rest.
But if this is true and Miller really is questioning his teammates, then he HAS to be moved. Between this and the distraction with his wife, there is no way he'll ever give 100% for this franchise.
