I don't know who this Strickland guy is or if he has any credibility, but I find this extremely disconcerting:

Sources close to Miller confirm his frustration with the Sabres organization and tell me he’d waive his modified no-trade clause to go to Chicago.

The frustration began early in the season after he was trucked by Boston’s Milan Lucic. Miller stayed down on the ice while his teammates stood around and watched.

From this point forward it’s more than safe to assume Miller began questioning his teammates. Are they willing to bleed for him in the same fashion he does for them?

Now, I'm very hesitant on the thought of trading Miller because we have nothing behind Enroth and it puts us in the exact same situation we've been in since we lost Biron/Conklin: no competent backup goaltending to give the starter a rest.

But if this is true and Miller really is questioning his teammates, then he HAS to be moved. Between this and the distraction with his wife, there is no way he'll ever give 100% for this franchise.

Can we throw in Roy and Stafford as a "favor" to Chicago?

there is no way you trade a talent like Kane, for goaltending alone.... now i would be in favor of sending miller stafford roy and kassian to get kane, and whoever Chi's backup goalie is

I would think if it ever happened you would get a goalie back, and give them Roy. They might want Ennis instead though.

And Enroth isnt ready to be a Starter, he's good for short stretches, but after 5 or 6 games, he begins to struggle.

that fact that this came from Roenick, means that it is about as credible as an e4 trade.

Roenick is not Part of Chicago's FO he cannot tell people who is dealable and who isnt based off his "opinion"

chicago would send back crawford or ray emery. Ray emery has always been trash. i wouldn't want him and crawford is struggling. So now what?

but maybe goalie isn't such a huge issue for buffalo. the team plays better for enroth and clean up their end more when he's in net. and the last couple stanley cup winners haven't gone to a team with franchise goaltending. tim thomas aside.

That's WAY overpaying for Kane.
