How about some more fire from the players themselves. Own up to their mistakes. Act like they give a **** when the game isn't going their way. THAT'S who needs more emotion. Not Lindy. Lindy was doing the exact same thing when we made our playoff runs. The difference here is the guys playing the game. No one cares anymore. No one wants to play. And it shows. through their results and emotion.
I didn't see tonight's game. But I can strongly presume that aside from a few guys like Vanek, Gerbe, and maybe some others, no one on the team gave a **** about the pathetic effort that resulted in 7 straight goals against.
It's the team on the ice that just doesn't wanna play anymore. Break up this bull**** "core" that we've been "building around" for years now. Pick your essential few guys you absolutely need, and wipe the rest of the slate clean.

Simmonds was having a nice time in front of Enroth/Miller on every PP philly had, and no one cared to even skate near him until AFTER he put in a rebound behind miller, not once, But TWICE.Comment
