All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

just to help keep things in perspective. and we have a multi-billion dollar owner who wants to win who has the guy who helped "fix" the lottery for the penguins to get crosby.
Maybe this is all working out exactly the way we want.

Pegula wasn't even with the Penguins when the Penguins won Crosby, Ted Black was.
Ted was a member of Mario Lemieux’s senior management team and served as Vice President of the Pittsburgh Penguins from 1999 to 2008. Ted was a member of the core group of executives that helped Lemieux execute one of the most successful franchise transformations in the history of professional sports. Ted was intimately involved in all senior executive-level decisions and strategic planning concerning the marketing, branding, sales and overall business operations and management of the team. In addition to being a key strategist during the Penguins’ efforts to get a new arena, Ted served as the day-to-day project leader for the new arena during the pre-construction phase of the project.
it was a poorly written sentence, but that was what i was trying to imply. that pegula has black who was part of the penguins. and yes, prior to sidney, there was no new stadium on its way, the team perpetually sucked for the 5 years prior and lemieux was probably whining that he didn't know what he got himself into when he purchased his share of the team.
the nhl doesn't need edmonton, calgary, toronto, vancouver, chicago, ottawa, nyr or buffalo to sell tickets. they don't have to give them anything to get fans in the door.so they don't.
but my hope is that maybe they look at deep pockets pegula and watch him say, "i didn't pay $200mm to get the same old ****. help me win and watch me throw money around to help the NHL."
Need a stud center. Forget his name but their is a great one that will go number 2.
Yep, you are right but here is what will happen. Sabres will finish 2nd to last but some team in the 3rd to 6th spot will win the lottery and move up to 1st or 2nd and move to the 3rd spot and the Sabres will miss out on a franchise player.
