All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

This game doesn't help the Sabres at all. Either way, a team ahead of them in the standings gets points,
It's probably slightly better for the Sabres if Washington wins because then they'll have to catch Washington with 65 for 8th rather than Toronto with 66, but honestly the Sabres have so little chance of turning it around that its really a moot point.

Washington is playing Carolina, not Toronto.
I don't think LW understands what he's talking about... Washington winning just means more ground we have to make up.
If Washington wins, yes Toronto is out of the 8th spot... but that also means we're 8 points out instead of 7. Logic fail.
“I look at it if we can win a game, we can close the gap to five points. You win that game tomorrow I think we can put those two disappointing periods against Philly behind us which have really been the only disappoint in about a 10 games stretch (6-3-2) I think we can put a run together and I told the team that before Pittsburgh that ‘I still believe in yah’. When we’ve been health and on the same page we’ve been able to push ahead.” Ruff added, “That’s the crazy part about where we’re at, one game we can be in 14th and you can win a game and you can be in 10th or 11th and it creates hope. There’s teams, you can look at baseball, you can look at football, teams that get into the playoffs on the last day and that might have to be us.” ~ Lindy Ruff

So Canes blow the Capitals 5-0, leaving the Sabres 7 pts out of the PO but if Washington would have won, the Sabres would have been 8 pts out of the PO. Why did we want Washington to win again?
The Sabres have shown no consistency this year. I just do not see gown they can turn it around. I say dump Stafford, Goose, (Boyes if you can) and Roy for some youth and picks. Go after a true veteran leader via trade or free agency and get a top 5 pick hopefully get no worse than #2.
