I just proposed in a thread on HF:

Roy and 2nd to NYR for Dubinsky and Boyle

Had one poster like the deal.


Not sure if the Sabres would need to clear any cap space. Just leave Hecht on LTIR, should be ok. Maybe move Boyes for a prospect and/or pick

I don't think so.

Dubinski and Boyle are worth more than Roy and a 2nd. I highly doubt the Rangers would be willing to trade Dubinski either. The guy is a key player for them and they look primed in the East this year.

couldn't see a team in 1st place looking to move guys and take a pick. they want just one player here or there to solidify the depth of their team. they don't want a pick. and they don't want to give up any of their working pieces.

The sabres would give up players and acquire picks from the rangers. the only rangers players we'd get are washed up players with equal cap hits to help them. and you get extra picks as compensation.

Pretty sure the Rangers aren't looking to make their team worse. I love unrealistic trade proposals though, so keep them coming!

You mean that last second Andrej Sekera for Steven Stamkos straight up trade deadline exchange I've been hoping for isn't going to happen?

Also when did he Giants start playing hockey?

When they realized that, if they played hockey, they could get the **** out of New Jersey and actually play in NY.
