Re: Stephen Hill
I haven't seen anything that's a major negative. IMO the biggest knock is simply lack of production, only from a reception standpoint (product of the system), and he may not be the most polished or fluid route runner.YardRat Wall of Fame

Im not going to knock him for his routes so much because he was stuck in a triple option system.COMING SOON...

It's more important how fast they are with pads on.
Here's the deal in this case... You got a guy who has a 40 speed attached to him of 4.46... NFLDraftScout.com has him ranked as a late 2nd rounder... Then the guy runs a 4.30. Honestly... You don't think that should be taken into account somehow? It's a cummulative thing... It's some magic formula comprised of many things... Strength, speed, smarts, motivation, etc, etc, etc. Any one of those that exceed (or falls short of) expectation can have an affect on where that player gets drafted.
It's not putting more stock into 1 thing... It's considering information that wasn,t there befor.Last edited by Yasgur's Farm; 02-26-2012, 05:29 PM.

Re: Stephen Hill
You're still arguing extremes YR... Speed matters, hands nmatter, route running matters, jumping ability matters, eyesight matters...
By fashionably ignoring any aspect of the formula is a diservice.
