Vancouver, BC (WGR 550) -- The Sabres have called up winger Marcus Foligno from Rochester. With Robyn Regehr suffering a “mid to lower body injury” the Sabres only had 20 healthy players to use. In 55 games with the Amerks Foligno has 14 goals and 20 assists with 70 penalty minutes. He’s +13.

He arrived to the arena ice just as the morning skate was wrapping up. With a game last night and a long travel day, I find it hard to think he’ll play. Lindy Ruff said, “We brought him in, we wanted to make sure we had protection.” Ruff’s answer to if he’ll play was, “I don’t know yet.”
