Could mean the signing of Stevie Johnson? The thread was stickied so it has to be legit.

Think a lot of <s>@</s>buffalobills (https://twitter.com/#%21/buffalobills) followers will be excited about the 10 am presser. Looking forward to it.

From Russ... It's done! I'm stoked.

SO EXCITED....regardless of whether you think Stevie is a clear #1 WR or a solid #2, i think we can all agree hes a good player, and we havent exactly locked many of them up in past years.

Why are we having a PC to announce a re-signing. Doubt there is any other team in the league that does that...

I know the issues with him just like everyone else.

But, I've said it before, Stevie is my favorite player since the SB years!

So excited about this. I was really worried.

What was close last night was finished today: Bills and wide receiver Stevie Johnson reached agreement on a five-year deal.

NONSENSE. If & when the Saints resign Brees, you can bet they will hold a PC.

What else positive do we have to talk about?

This is awesome news! Now I dont have to feel like I wasted money by buying the Stevie replica at Dicks for $15.

Excellent! I hope we got him for a cheap price so the Bills can still be very active in free agency.

I think it's 5 years for 42.5 with 18 guaranteed.

Is that Stevie? It looks like him, but the picture is so backlit that it's hard to tell.

Other teams do it on a regular basis for their top FAs.

No truth to the rumor that he gets a 100k bonus for every game he doesn't get an excessive celebration/unsportsmanlike penalty

He is tough. Playing any position/sport with a groin injury for half the season is impressive; let alone receiver.

I am not denying that - the "for a receiver" part was funny though

Do you pay attention to every NFL team 24/7? It's not like these pressers get shown on ESPN.

I pay pretty close attention to NFL news. I just don't ever remember seeing a GM set up a press conference after re-signing their own player.

Don't you watch NFL network? I think I've seen press conference clips for almost every single major contract extension/signing. I was watching a clip from the press conference for Cleveland's D'Qwell Jackson's extension just last week.
