Good move. One fewer hole to fill. I would still like to see us get another big time WR in free agency or the draft, though.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Glad it's done tbh.
I don't think SJ has truly the speed to be an out and out #1 WR, or perhaps an 'elite' WR would be a better description there, but he is, and will continue to be, hopefully, a very good one.
The 'price point' isn't a bad one either, as I think he could have gone for anything between $6 and $9 million per if he had hit FA.
Seems like Buddy is following through on how he says he wants to operate, in respect of getting your own good players re-signed.Comment

Smart move, but if we're serious about competing next season, he will just be the start of other smart moves...
