Still some good players out there, but teams will scramble to sign guys in the next week before the start of FA. The list will dwindle quite a bit.

It is hard for me to believe SD won't step up and pay Vincent Jackson, for one. It will be a big contract, but with Smith and Turner fighting for their jobs they can't let him go. I would expect they make a big push to get him under contract this week.

franchise tags do help us though as they dry up some money some teams had to use in FA just the same.
