Teemu Selanne has to be a without a doubt guy for an over 1000 game guy.

Selanne is a good one. Martin Brodeur is another. Not sure of his stats but Daniel Alfredsson could be... I like that he's been with his team for his entire career but again I am not sure if his stats are HOF material.

Lidstrom/Jagr are locks. Probably Thornton.

How can you compare Mike Gartner to Ray Whitney? Gartner had over 700 goals. Whitney has not even half that amount. To answer the question though, one of the guys not mentioned has to be Chris Pronger.

Well Whitney is crazy that he is still producing like has been for years, not the scorer Gartner was, many more assists, is approacing 1000 points, I was more referring to how Gartner ammassed so many goals and never really was perceived as a star.

The hockey HOF has always been about who isn't in as opposed to who is. I don't think the criteria is super strict like in say baseball or football. So it is possible.
