Nix wanted a guy who wins one on one match ups and is about 6'4 250-260. Also not old.

Doesn't he play OLB in a 3-4 defense? Has he ever played with his hand to the ground as a DE, or OLB in a 4-3?Comment

He was a 3-4 OLB in Cleveland but he never really broke out in that position. The Raiders traded for him and played him with his hand in the ground as a DE and he performed.Originally posted by Forward_Lateral

Wimbley plays SAM and RE at Oakland. Quite well actually, because he could put his hand in dirt on 3rd down.
