Great, back to back games against a division opponent is great scheduling.

SkateZilla

Too much time playing with it and not enough clean passes and shots.

OUr Passing is pathetic.

This team hasn't the heart to win the big games, it shows in every play & every pass. Take a shift off because it's not working your way, that's Roy for you.

Caps win in OT too so the slim playoff hopes are fading fast

we're still only 2 pts out depending on the VAN/WPG outcome.

for being amazing together, they sure haven't produced very much.

This game was the 4th game in 7 night with half of that being on the West Coast and then this one is a back-to-back in their Arena. I'm almost willing to give these guys a pass this game except for the hole they dug themselves, they gave themselves no time to take nights off.

I am not willing to give Roy a pass on the second goal. He should of gone down to block the shot. 7 minutes to go in a tie game where you need every point. Play like a man Roy and block the shot. His play is the kind that will never win a championship.

It is amazing.

Hodgson hasn't even had a practice with the team yet.

How is it amazing if they haven't scored once since he has been there? Shouldn't they actually produce something before we break out the word "amazing".

Because he demoted Roy to the 2nd line

Because they guy is playing on a line without finishers. Stafford couldn't finish a bologna sandwich and Ennis is a play maker.

Also, here's been his last 21 days:

Saturday 2/18 Vancouver HOME vs Toronto
Sunday 2/19 @ Oilers
Tuesday 2/21 @ Predators
Thursday 2/23 @ Red Wings
Friday 2/24 @ Devils
Sunday 2/26 @ Stars
Monday 2/27 TRADED to Buffalo and FLEW to Buffalo Tuesday for Physical and paperwork
Wednesday 2/29 @ Anaheim
Thursday 3/1 @ San Jose
Saturday 3/3 HOME (Basically) @ Vancouver
Monday 3/5 @ Winnipeg
Wednesday Back to Buffalo to play Carolina
Thursday @ Boston

Yesterday was 12 games in 11 different cities in 21 days PLUS another flight cross country for paperwork.

The fact the guy knows what day it is, much less when to sleep, is incredible. And he's averaged about 15 minutes TOI since joining Buffalo.

Edit: forgot the Carolina game.

I didn't watch the game, but I am guessing if Ruff was making changes at the end it was because he was trying to generate offense in a game where they scored only 1 goal. They STILL are having problems scoring goals, and while it looks as if Ennis and Hodgson seem to have chemistry, Hodgson hasn't produced a single point since he was traded here.

people use superlatives way too much, they don't seem to know the actual definition of words like great, amazing or unbelievable

the problem isnt offense its basics:

Passing, Shooting, Movement.

Passing: none of the passes are connecting, they are either too far ahead, too far behind, bouncing, Too Fast/Hard, Too Slow/Soft, etc.

Shooting: too many shots are going wide and going right out of the zone. Too many shots are being taken at the wrong time.

Movement: players dont wanna skate, they dont wanna move their legs, stationary players are easier to defend and read than players that are moving.

Put all three of those problems together and your gonna have issues getting out of your own zone, let alone be offensive, let alone score.
