All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

I think we will very much be in on this one more than any other FA IMO.
My thought on this is what happens if we get him for a bigger contract than Stevie's? It may take more money. Does that mean he's then our #1? After Stevie was re-signed as our #1?
It would seem to create a goofy situation.
But, the Nix ties may run deep on this one. I think this is a real possibility for the Bills.
Reports down here are the Bucs
are going hard after V. Jackson... Bucs have a Ton of money to spend!!!
They are also going after Cortland Finnegan. Finnegan & Jackson have been talking to each other about going to Tampa. I have no doubt the Bucs will sign both of them.

If anything I would rather throw the $$$ at Mario Williams instead of Vincent Jackson.

Finnegan maybe becuase they still dont know what Ronde is going to do or the situation with Talib.
But makes sense they have a boatload of $$$ to spend but they also have to deal with Freeman and a new contract soon.
That will be in the $10 mill per category

Well, I have heard the Bucs want the physical aspect that Finnegan will bring to the team. As you said, Rhonde may retire at 36 years old & Talib may be suspended. They need a vet CB even if they do draft a CB in the 1st rnd which I expect them to do.
It's no secret that the Redskins and Bears will pursue Vincent Jackson vigorously when free agency opens.
It’s no secret that the Redskins and Bears will pursue Vincent Jacksonhere and Chicago’s in this space. Buffalo and Tampa Bay have also been floated as possible Jackson destinations.
Kevin Acee of the Union-Tribune San Diego takes it a step further in a Sunday night report, confirming Chicago and Washington are expected to be Jackson’s two most aggressive pursuers and that the Redskins “will do almost whatever it takes” to land this year’s top free agent wideout.

"almost"? What the hell does almost get you? If the Skins want Jackson, they will have to do what ever it takes, NOT "almost whatever it takes". The Bucs have the money to spend & they will need to spend it to put fans back in the seats.
