    Dallas Clark cut

In addition to Andrew Luck taking over at quarterback and Peyton Manning playing elsewhere, the Colts will have a whole lot of holes to fill with the news that they have released Dallas Clark, Joseph Addai and Melvin Bullitt.

He's 32 but if he's got anything left he's worth a look. Good tight ends can play at a high level well into their 30s.

Gary Brackett and Curtis Painter also.

Boy, the Colts are cutting back to scratch...Luck is going to have a tough couple of first seasons.

Receiver first with a bum wrist even after surgery. His tank is pratically on 'E'.

Honestly, based on how he's played recently, I'd say that we're better off taking our chances with Chandler or a rookie. Don't get me wrong, at one time he was a hell of a player, but I think that his best days are certainly behind him. I wouldn't be shocked if he only got calls from a couple of teams wanting to kick the tires.

Kicking the tires is all I'm saying. He may very well be done and should only get a no-risk, low-cost deal if he's signed.

Might be worth a look, especially going back to the 4-3 front. My only concern with him would be his inability to stay healthy, and obviously his age. I think that at this point in his career, he's no better than a two down LB, and would struggle to see time in this LB corps.
