5 games against teams behind us.
6 games against the West or at the top of our conference.
2 games against teams that we might have a shot of catching.

That's not a good schedule for a team trying to earn it's way into the final playoff spot...we're going to need a lot of help and hope things fall our way.

If we can't beat them now, would it matter if we made the playoffs?

We're down 2 points and Washington has a game in hand on us... We also don't have the tiebreaker with them (ROW)

I am all for making the post season but if i am being realistic its going to be very tough. Hopefully Darcy and company can fix what is wrong with this club over the summer so we are not scoreboard watching this time next year.

ouch. only 3 losses in them and only one win in overtime. what makes that so daunting is even if they do it, they'll have a huge sigh of relief and come out so lack luster for the playoffs and be one and done.

right. thanks. i miswrote what i was trying to say. thanks for clearing it up.

but still, daunting for this team.

part of me thinks that the sabres could get in and then win the whole thing. The only reason being is that i hate this team so much in its character, lack of scoring, no heart style. so it only seems fitting that the gods will make this be the team that i'll have to worship for the rest of my life and i hated them for most of the season.

Roy and Stafford having their name on the cup as sabres.... and then the rest of us having to like them for it :ill:

but i think i could get over that pretty quickly

Only if Roy and Stafford are 4th line players.
