If it wasn't for Twitter a) someone may have, you know, proofread his writing and b) he may not have made the mistake if he wasn't rushing to tweet it before 15 other jackasses do.

The Internet in general- and Twitter specifically- has people rushing to get info out and that's where a lot of these errors come from.

well of course it's his fault, but there's no doubt that the rush to get the info out there contributed to the mistake.
