Was it a cheap shot? Sure but I'm upset that other players get away with murder especially if you have that stupid spoked B on the front of your jersey and Shanahan doesn't suspend them. Ennis got hit from behind, got a concussion and the dude did even get a hearing. I don't remember who hit Ennis. For a first time suspension, 3 games is heavy. Bettman has taught Shannan to hate Buffalo.

Shannan used that as an excuse to suspend him...so what does he mean by "injured"? He missed a couple shifts? he misses a game(s)? if he doesn't miss at least one game because of the hit, he shouldn't be able to use it as an excuse to suspended Myers.

I'm more pissed about the inconsistency. Nothing for Lucic who took out our goalie who has a history and Myers with no history gets 3. I have no problem with a game and/or fine, but 3 is excessive to me.

the upsetting part is Shannaban's inconsistency... like i said before the good from Philly took out gerbe, who then proceede to miss what seemed to be about 2 weeks as a direct result of the boarding call that the ref's gave 5min and a game misconduct for, didnt even get called for a hearing, and i think he had just finish serving a suspension for a similar hit. yet Meyers, a first time offender, only given a 2min minor penalty, get three games. thats the upsetting part
