1. The Bills are going to be aggressive.
2. Expects the Bills biggest impacts to be done by Friday
3. Expects more players aroung the NFL to be cut because the cap did not increase
4. The first few years of FA was done to add bodies. Now they are filling holes.
5. DE is a need. It will be addressed via draft or FA.
6. Needs are addressed via FA first and then the draft.
7. Knows that money is first to sign guys.


I would not be shocked to see them pursue Williams hard.

this two tells me that they will be players but not necesarily for big named FA's.

3.) I figured there would be some more interesting names as teams scramble

4.) We gutted this roster by 80% when Nix came in, and we knew the rebuild would not happen overnight. Nothing could quickly fix the 10 years before Nix and thoguh Bills fans patience has run thin, Nix knew it owuld be slower then many liked, but he sticks with his plan instead of panicking..

Hopefulyl agressive means that when a FA turns down our initial offer, we increast it a bit. If the FA is dead set against playing for Buffalo, so be it.

I honestly expect us to be agressive going for 2nd teir guys, not guys like Mario Williams and Vincent Jackson.

Russ is on now. Just came on - "resources are not an issue." Also followed up with Cash 2 Cap not being a budgetary tool to prevent signings but one to prevent cutting guys that can still help in future.

Also said signing bonuses won't be a problem because signing bonuses are investments into their future.

I still don't think 'aggressive' = big name or big dollars. IMO they've got a few guys targeted (more than the past), and they're going to get them in and signed quickly.
