All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
The Bills have said all along that they’ll be aggressive in free agency and GM Buddy Nix further clarified how narrow their focus will be today and Wednesday.
In a one-on-one interview with Buffalobills.com, when asked how many primary targets the Bills have in free agency Nix said the following.
“We have a couple, probably two,” said Nix. ”I’d say you’ll recognize the names.”
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Let me guess...Barnum and Bailey.

Well Mario Williams has to be one of them. He's the most recognizable name and fits our biggest need. They've also talked about being aggressive and signing bonuses not being an issue.
man for buddy to say, "you'd recognize the names." that's kind of bold.
makes me wonder if they know they are getting who they want.
I was kind of wondering the same thing. He seems pretty confident. I mean it's going to look bad if they don't sign anyone important over the next few days, but he doesn't really seem concerned with preparing the fan base for a possible letdown.
exactly. why take the risk and raise expectations when we all are coming into this that they won't sign anyone worth noting? unless they know something or unless they are clueless. both are options...
I'm positive that Vincent Jackson is one of them. They've been dispatching players to recruit for them and throw in Merriman's tweet to VJax....it's obvious.
