Myers suspended 3 games, and Caps overcome a 4-1 3rd period deficit to win in a shootout.

I was hoping the Sabres could stay in it until the 27th when I see them play the Caps, but apparently even that mediocre expectation is too much to ask from a Buffalo team.

The Sabres will need to make a minor-league recall to fill Myers' spot. Brayden McNabb is the likely candidate.

if the myers hit was on a sabre, we would have been besides ourselves. it deserved a suspension. what is stupid is he wasted that hit on gomez, a guy who never scores.

As for the capitals game last night, before the game, i thought the caps would win. and based on their schedule, i didn't think they'd lose that game. the blackhawk, redwings road stretch is where we need them to lose. they are fine. Sabres just have to win all but 2 or 3 and one loss in OT.

still doable. the islander game would have been a nice twist.

after washingtons win last night, that puts my projected "cut line" at 91.37
that means the sabres need to average 1.5ppg or go 9-3 to get to 92pts
