    Is anyone else concerned?

That there hasn't been any visits other than Meachem? The free agent pool is starting to wear pretty thin on quality guys. I applaud the FO for doing everything they can to keep Mario in town but I'm surprised that not even rumors of any other visits/interest have surfaced.

God forbid if Mario doesn't sign what are we going to do with $30 million in cap space? Send out apology letters to the fans with a couple hundred dollars each inside?

Oh yeah I'm concerned, and your exactly right, there are alot of very good FA's that have gone by the waste side b/c we're sitting and waiting for an answer. IF the guy says yes, he's instantly all of Bills nation favorite player, but if he says no, he's the most hated man in the NFL; including me.

I think that the Bills truly believe that they are a pass rush away from being a play off team.

Why would you hate the guy? Just the fact that he's given us three days, and made Buffalo his first stop is a huge sign of progress in my opinion.

And WR, they did make it apparent that they want a WR really bad

              That would be unfortunate.

There was a report of contact with Manningham. But I don't really care. There is no one out there right now worth diverting attention from Williams.

Honestly if they don't sign him they are going to have to overpay people just to meet the cap floor it would seem like.

Yeah, but with the early picks in the draft, there's no way they can't land a decent rookie WR. All of the FA WR's are relatively big names (Royal, Garcon, Morgan, etc...), but none of them have really done anything worth getting excited about, especially for what some of them are being paid. I'd rather take my chances with someone like Wright, Jeffery, Hill, or Randle.

As far as the top-tier FA's are concerned, who else do you want? Sure it would have been nice to land someone like Jackson, but at $55 million?

I wouldn't necessarily go that far, there's still the draft and FA is far from over. Just because you don't land the biggest FA out there, doesn't mean that there aren't plenty of other FA's that can contribute in big ways.

I don't necessarily want top tier free agents. A few select guys to add to the starting lineup and beef up depth, and grab your real talent in the draft, IMO.

You and I are on the exact same page. I'd rather have 5 2nd and 3rd tier FA's, than one 1st tier FA.
