-First, I DVR'd it and stayed up til 1 in the ****ing morning to watch that ****ing piece of ****. ****ing *******s needed to try for literally ONE EXTRA SECOND to get the win and they couldn't do it. And the O-fer on the shootout was just ****ing humiliating.

-The Roy/Vanek/Pominville line is AWFUL defensively. The only time the Sabres were really pinned in the zone was when these three assclowns were on the ice, save one good shift by Colorado's tough guy line.

-When Roy/Vanek/Pominville actually do get in the offensive zone, they do produce scoring chances but they don't convert. It's just embarrassing how bad the top 3 are at putting the puck in the net.

-The PK was awesome except for one breakdown with almost no time left. And the Sabres were sticking it to Colorado in the first before that one breakdown led to the first Colorado goal. Those two mistakes were the difference in the game.

-The officiating was very one-sided. Colorado was interfering with the Sabres left and right and there were 2 or 3 obvious trips that were missed. On Kaleta's first penalty, the NBC announcers said he "punched" the Colorado player, but the replay they showed certainly didn't support that conclusion. Reputation penalty.

-Stafford's shorty goal was sweet.

Downey seemed to be getting away with a lot more than Kaleta would.

Oh and how could I forget Foligno? Dude was great last night. Hopefully it wasn't a fluke and he'll be a consistent player for us.
