Titans offer Manning a contract for life

To the extent that Peyton Manning is looking to parlay a contract for his services as a player into a contract for his services as an executive, it's working.

based on some of those comments, Bud Adams sounds like a snake. I hate some rich people - well, the ones who are conniving snakes like Bud is.

yeah they should not let this happen.... This is a precedent that will get abused quickly.

If they want to have a hand shake agreement that Peyton can retire to a FO job with the Titans that's ok, but an official agreement shoudln't be allowed for the obvious inability to properly project towards the cap etc...

That should go over well with Indy fans and Irsay who are in same division as the Titans. Can you imagine if Jim Kelly signed a lifetime contract with the Dolphins after he got cut/retired from Buffalo.

Manning's my favorite player. I wouldn't want to have to see Mario crush him several times per year.

They did cut him when he was still playing at a high level.

I'm sure they would love him in Tennessee. There are a lot of Titans fans that like the Vols where he played college football. He's pretty much like a God on campus.

It's official. Peyton won't go to MIami to avoid Mario. "he could end my career"

Peyton will be signing with Denver and it will be announced today or tomorrow. That is my EDUCATED guess. Elway is on his way to Raleigh to pick up Manning.

Lets see if i am right
