    Our D on paper now

    LE- Merriman, Kelsay
    DT- Dareus, Spence
    DT- K. Williams, Troup
    DE- M. Williams, Carrington
    OLB- Moorison
    MLB- Sheppard
    OLB- Barnett

Only did the depth for the DL, but wow it looks pretty

Merriman, if healthy, will be at OLB, where Morrison might back him up.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Still would love a OLB upgrade, or at least much better depth.

Surprised we are not going strong after a FA CB.

With us going after WR's in FA it seems that the Bills won't use the the #10 on a WR nor are we going after a DE. We have plenty of decent WR's so WR depth is not an issue if we bring in a FA WR.

So at #10 that leaves us with a few options LT, which would require a trade up IMO, a CB, and that could happen... It doesn't look like OLB will be a big option at #10, but I haven't done that research.... Definitely changed our draft in a massive way, trading down might be an option.

Is Carrington a little big for 4-3 end?

I liked the way he played last year and I hope they can find a space for him.

This team STILL has to upgrade at a few positions....lets not go crazy just yet...Merriman when not healthy is average. The secondary has potential and that will certainly will show improvement with an improved pass rush.

I agree with Jan Merriman is OLB

But where is Dwan Edwards at DT/DE ?

I like Kelsay starting at DE over Merriman. As oddly as that sounds.

Merriman is not a 4-3 OLB. He would be a rush end on 3rd downs if we were smart.

I doubt it. I don't think Merriman has the speed to be an OLB anymore. He will likely play DE - he still contains against the run well and was held a great deal last year before he went out.

I'm going to love seeing what opponents do...who do you double team? Kyle? Dareus? Mario? Merriman? Any one of them can wreak havoc or at the very least, collapse the pocket for another to get in.

I still say if DE Coples is there, we should draft him. Then WR Floyd. Then LT Reiff (?). BPA all the way through the end!!!

I'd still like to land a WR in FA if possible...

They already said last year that the way we played the 3-4 was just like the 4-3 because one OLB was almost always in the 3 point stance. Merriman always played that.

                          true

but maybe the 5th rusher at OLB on obvious passing downs.

Gonna all come down to how healthy he is
