    Alex Smith visiting Miami

    Adam Schefter ‏ @AdamSchefter
Here's an interesting way to start your Sunday morning: 49ers free-agent QB Alex Smith is visiting today with the Miami Dolphins.

    Re: Alex Smith visiting Miami

Alex Smith is tired of waiting around for the 49ers to learn whether they've won the Peyton Manning sweepstakes.

Why ? They have Matt Moore & Losman at QB.

      They're set.

Actually Losman is currently unemployed. UFA

Manning to SF possibly, I'm sure the Seahawks are pissed. He wouldn't even visit with them, and now they might have to play him twice a year.

Still think he ends up in Tennessee.

If Manning doesn't go to the Niners, Harbaugh really screwed the pooch with how he handled this and they're going to be desperate to find a QB.

Tough spot for Smith, considering he shares the same agent with Peyton.

Yeah, the Niners will be totally screwed if Smith signs with Miami and Peyton goes to Tennessee.

I said a long time ago that the 49ers would be the best team for Manning to go to. They are a QB away from the Super Bowl. If they don't sign Manning it is either a money or health issue.

I read Smith may change agents.

Hassleback would go to the 49ers and start then in the case Manning goes to the Titans and Smith to Miami.

                        Answer this for me...

Since the day Manning and the Colts cut ties, the entire sports world has been focused on his every move, especially ESPN and NFLN with cameras at every stop and with timely information about his itinerary...where he's going, what he's doing, when he arrives, when he leaves...even to the point of a live shot 'OJ-White Bronco' style coverage of Denver execs driving to see Manning work out.

How in the hell did he slip into a work out for San Fran last Tuesday without it being reported until three days later, on Friday?

They're trying to get some leverage.
