Vanek has been playing injured

Sabres trainers today took Vanek to Tampa Bay Hospital today to get an x-rays done and the x-rays came back and showed that he has been playing through games with a subluxation. Sabres trainers say that a subluxation is Partial dislocation of a joint.

shelf him up. no need to put him through the ringer for this lost season. rehab and get him a real center.

it's pretty obvious he's been playing injured, whenever he has a rough stretch like he does now it comes out in the offseason that he was playing through something.

he's a tough guy for sticking it out but i'd rather they just get him completely healthy so he can be dominant again.
