Jets & Caps both lost in regulation

Caps / Jets / Sabres all have 10 games left, we're 2 points behind but need 3 because if wins being the first tie-breaker.

    Go Sabres!!

9 days. 4 games. I need them to stay in this for 4 more games so it means something when I go to the game against the Caps.

But, this is Buffalo sports and 4 games is too much to ask.....

This makes my day as it was previously ruined by that slimeball Corey Perry getting a game misconduct in the last 20 seconds of a loss, which booted me out of the playoffs for fantasy!

No. This is Buffalo sports. They will miss out on the last day of the regular season.

In the 14th round of a shootout.

The Caps have a brutal stretch coming up as well & the Canes were supposed to be a easy roll for the Jets at home, which didn't happen.

The Sabres could be anywhere in the standings come your game, oh thee of little fatih.

why should I have faith? This team has played like **** for most of the year until the last month or so, and paces like this are incredibly hard to sustain. On top of that, Vanek is one of only two guys who can generate offense and he's either going to be out or playing hurt.

This isn't religion. Faith has to be earned. I'm not going to have faith in the team to give me the outcome I want unless they give me a reason to have it.

Would you rather have them playing like they have been now 2 points behind a playoff spot or playing like earlier in the season 2 points behind ?? What's the more likely outcome based on recent play?? Teams get hot late in the season every year & it takes them into the playoffs, maybe even late into the playoffs.

I'll take a team getting hot late close to a playoff spot than a team cooling off.

I'll take a team that's fairly consistent over the season then gets hot when the playoffs get close.

I don't like a team that struggles all year then gets hot just in time to make one last desperate push for the last playoff spot.

How'd Boston do all last season before getting hot at the end & winning it?

that should have never gone to a shootout

What the hell are you talking about? Boston had 103 points last year- 1st in the division and 3rd in the conference in the standings, tied for 4th in points. They were good all year.

Looks like they had a shaky Nov as well, otherwise they were pretty consistent except for those 8 losses in March versus 7 wins.

WSH and WPG play each other 1 more time in a week or so,

we play WSH in a couple days...

                            IMportant games.

meanwhile My Local AHL team just won their 18th straight last night. new AHL record ( only one being a Shootout Win)
