I'm starting to get the feeling Bell will also re-sign a short term deal to return to the team before too long. Interest in Bell has been minimal at best.

I'm glad Scott re-signed, he's a solid versatile player. It'll be interesting to see what his deal looks like.

I like this as long as he stays at S.

He has good instincts for LB but is just too small.

Did he even play LB at all last year?...Not sure I remember him there.

Agreed, I don't mind lining him up as a LB in passing situations though.

Hes still in great shape at 31 and very fast for 220lbs

plays safety, lb, and special teams...

Meh the LB market is pretty thin.

I like Curtis Lofton. Manny Lawson could probably be had on the cheap as well.

I like Lofton but we have Shepp at MLB. Lawson is more 34 OLB to me than 43 fit.

Nice to see that the bills are bringing/keeping quality depth.

Actually Wanny stated that he can live with smaller linebackers if his D-line pans out. The #1 rule for his LB, as was the case for Jimmy Johnson, is they can run and tackle.

I see Scott in this hybrid S/LB role as he was last year, primarily for attacking/covering running backs.

He hasn't played much LB under Gailey but he played it a lot under Jauron. He was good in passing situations because he had S speed playing LB but was invisible against the run.

Guy's just a football player: LB in nickel, in-the-box safety, special teams. Good to have him back.

This guy might be the most sure tackler on the team.

Good move. Scott is a good, versatile player. Great offseason so far. Makes me really optimistic about the draft.

I see that some people truly don't see how important this move is. #43 is always around the ball. He can cover the middle on slants, he can actually cover a TE, and as stated before is very easily the most fundamental tackler on the team in full speed contact.

If this were college basketball, he'd be the first playmaker off the bench. He has all the tools but he's also like a Brad Smith. Instead of a QB/WR he's a S/LB. Hybrid D playmaker.

Very, very happy that #1 we don't have to face against him and #2 that he's still a Bill. With our pass rush, I don't fear the lack in run game or draw plays with 43 on the field.

A HUGE welcome back, Bryan.

Having Bell back would be huge IMO! I'm not saying we shouldn't draft another LT just for competition or in case of injury like last year.

Dem is sorely underrated. His and Fred's absence meant our complete offensive collapse.

Meh the LB market is pretty thin.

Wish we would've traded our 4th round pick for MLB Demeco Ryans :(

Worst case scenario, he's solid depth at multiple positions.
