All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I figured the most pessimistic (or as you like to say, Realistic) Bills fan I know deserves his own thread. I hope you are having a great Birthday and enjoying all the moves the Bills are making this year and of course the Sabres playoff chase. Happy Birthday!
BTW, does anyone else think it ironic that I'm considered one of the more optimistic Bills fans on the site or as some people say, a homer...and Op is Mr. Negative at times, share the same birthday? I like the way we balance it out. Plus I can attest to hanging out with him at Bills games, Op may be negative, but he's definitely a big Bills fan and I'm proud to share the same birthday with him.
Happy Birthday, Op. What I don't get is how one of the most pessimistic posters can share the same birthday with one of the most optimistic. So much for that Zodiac thing.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
Happy Birthday, Op. What I don't get is how one of the most pessimistic posters can share the same birthday with one of the most optimistic. So much for that Zodiac thing.
And yes, I like most of what the Bills have done and I'm seeing more good than bad for the first time I can remember.
And while the Sabres season has been disappointing, at least they played well enough to make the last few weeks exciting. I hate lowering the standards like that, but they were briefly last in the conference, so for them to come back and have a fighting chance at the playoffs is pretty damn good.
Happy Birthday, even though the morning sucks, lunchtime isn't good enough, the afternoon blows, dinnertime isn't cutting it, and the evening needs help.
