Sabres ask NHL for less back to back games next season

The Buffalo Sabres have asked the NHL to not give them so many back to back games on next years schedule they lead the league in back to back games.

I'm curious how many they've won in the back to back contests this year. Typically Lindy Ruff's teams are not good in the second game of a back to back set however I remember hearing earlier in the season they were actually decent this year. I agree though, lots of back to back games this year, gotta be tiring for the team.


Edit: 6-8-5 in the 19 back to back games so far this year. Team started out well in b2b's before the new year, then started dropping them in OT and the SO.

I like watching games 2 nights in a row but I guess it is a different story for the players
