    Michael Floyd

Is starting think more and more that he should be the choice at #10. I would like Reiff or Floyd. I'm torn on who to take if both are there.

I don't think reiff is gonna pan out at LT I think he would be better at RT. but what do I know I would like Floyd more.

Nor do I, I still maintain that they should continue to improve the defense, whether it be by way of CB, DL, or Kuechly. I know that everyone wants to go offense, but offense was hardly the problem last year. You can also get quality skill position players in rounds 2-7.

I can see us trading down and selecting Stephen Hill. Or if he'll last until our second pick that'd be great. I would take the best defensive player left with the 10 pick, and Hill in the second, though i don't think he'll be there. But I don't think we'd take Floyd at 10. I'd rather see a left tackle, you can find a receiver anywhere in the draft.

Since we have filled our biggest need, i.e., a pass rush, we should go BPA with the 10th pick. I just don't see Floyd as the 10th best player in the draft.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I agree. If they think one of the remaining LTs (Reiff may be there, Martin is intriguing to me) can start from day one, they should go for it and solidify the position. This may be crazy but DeCastro (a guard) also gets huge props in scouting reports as a potential dominant, best-in-the-league class of player. We can find receivers in any round and this draft is reputed to have possible contributors throughout the middle rounds. If not one of these, I think Kirkpatrick looks like the right fit if they are comfortable with his character. I also like Keuchly.

AND: CB, LB and linemen often contribute to full potential as rookies while WRs seldom do.

He reminds me of Hakeem Nicks when I watch him play. I am starting to think he could be BPA.

                      Wow I see totally different.
To me Floyd has trouble with bump and run coverage and was unable to get away from his defender.

                      Nicks is great with seperation.

That's why the draft is fun. Will be interesting to see where Floyd goes and how he looks in his rookie year.

I would be all of that pick. I think Floyd is going to be a stud in the league. If its a OT, I prefer Martin over Reiff. I think if we're not going to take Floyd, we should move down (if we can) to the high teens, and draft the OT thats left or Kilpatrick.

I want Reiff or Morris Claiborne at 10.

Both are absolute needs and top prospects and only one of them will likely be available.
