That makes their picks break down by round look like: 1,2,3,4,4,5,5,6,7,7.

Pick will be just a couple spots before Mr. Irrelevant.

By the way, Browns, Packers, Jets each received 4 compensatory picks.
Colts, Raiders, Steelers get 3.
Ravens, Vikings get 2.
7 teams (inc Bills) get 1.

And don't forget as per Clump we're guaranteed NOT to get one in '13!!

Lol they should offer their 1st for an early 2nd, 3rd, and 6th.

2 picks in each round except the 1st, that would be pretty crazy.

Why? We would have to likely cut most of the players we get. Stick to BPA and if there's a high value player that we think we should move on, use extra picks to move up and get the exact personnel they need & want. I'd rather get less players, but have them be quality ones than just a bunch of scrubs.

I figured the "Lol" preceding the statement would convey the tone of what I said.

Now, sarcasm aside.

There will be high turnover, sure, but a lot of the guys on the roster are 4-3 non fits as is. Personally, I'm not enamored with anyone at #10, and think playing the numbers game could work well in this draft.

Well with 10 picks now all we have to do is hit on 50% of them and we'd still have an awesome draft.

I believe we spent a comp. pick on some Johnson character. Correct me if I'm wrong, but maybe we can find some more gents in the later rounds as we always seem to.

If we don't do that stupid "3-LB's-with-3-picks-in-a-row" crap and maybe snag some 4th round CB's, a solid OLB tackler in the 3rd-5th, some O-Line depth with the comps and fill some needs or get a developmental QB... I'm all for it. The more picks the better, gives us more camp fodder and we can cut the meek.

That could change with a trade up or trade down.

Who did the Jets lose to get four?
Steve Weatherford (punter for the Giants) Brad Smith, Jerricho Cotchery, Shaun Ellis, Dwight Lowery and Jason Taylor are the first few names that come to mind.

Getting a comp pick isn't the hallelujah some think.

It means that the powers that be say you lost more than you gained. The word "compensation" speaks for itself.

If I owned the Blils, I'd spend that 7th round comp pick by drafting Roger Goddell - Washington & Jefferson College, Washington, Pennsylvania.

The humor value is well worth it.
