The Jets loss essentially eliminated them from the playoffs, so the outcome here without 3 points being handed out was not a complete detriment to the Sabres.

Bottom line: The Jets are now a footnote that no longer help or hurt us.

Yep. but ott winning was a pretty bad scenario. as spoken in thenumbers crunching thread. we have to win tonight, and if not, we really need an epic collapse by Florida.
