"Mario Williams to BUF: What a huge move for Buffalo. They went old school and didn’t let Williams visit anywhere until he signed on the dotted line. Putting him on a line with Marcell Dareus and our top ranked DT from 2010, Kyle Williams, is almost unfair."

    Love that.

If they all stay healthy, we are going to have a dominate D-line!

"...Anthony Collins to CIN: Considering the lack of quality in the tackle market it is stunning that Collins couldn’t find a market as a starting tackle. The Bengals have got back a known tackle and Collins provides real quality and insurance at both tackle spots. Teams in search of a starting right tackle dropped the ball allowing Collins to re-sign with Cincinnati."...

I've watched this '08 #4 play, his entire NFL career. 18 starts out of 39 game appearances. RT, RG, LG. LT.

          There is a back story:

He was in the house of friend Jerome Simpson, when the law showed up about Simpson's ganja delivery. Simpson is kinda like Ochocinco - mindset of a 12 year-old. I don't think he will do time - other than NFL suspension time. Simpson's a big noise in visiting kids in the hospital, charity stuff, etc. Decent chap.

Collins issued an erudite statement two days after the bust about his non-involvement - and the authorities gave him the clean bill of health in the matter. He's a good citizen.

But I think the stink was applied to Collins, so teams backed off. Too bad for BUF - should have brought him in for talks. Opportunity lost.

People are beginning to notice this line is going to be very hard to deal with. It's going to be really fun to watch versus all the mediocre-to-bad qb's the bills are lucky enough to face this year.

Add in Mark Anderson (and hopefully a healthy Shawne Merriman) and it IS unfair.

Whats amazing is if you put Merriman, Williams, Dareus, Kyle, and Anderson all on the line and just told them to bull rush, we would have a sack every play. An OL normally doesnt just have 5 solid passblockers. We have 5 great passrushers (well if Merriman can be Merriman). Even on teams who have HOF OL. I honestly think if we can get a solid OT, with our positions of strength and our quick pass O, our team would be the best matchup vs our D.

We are going undefeated this year.

Collins has been in the league for 4 years, and has missed 25 games. He's also never been a full-season starter. No wiff there.

Hmm...you seem to be using the word "missed" as in injured or otherwise unable to play.

Let us see: A 4th rounder on the roster for 4 years. Was in 39 games, started 18. Plays LT, RT, and G.

I've seen almost all of the games Collins has played in. How many for you?

Ever heard the term "bench strength"? Ever come across a club that made a dumb #1 pick and put him in the lineup to save face (see Andre Smith)?
